This unique dual program allows students to obtain two Ontario College Graduate Certificates over a period of two academic years (four terms) in Information Network Security Administration and Advanced Cyber Security.
The first year of the program is the Information Network Security Administration Ontario College Graduate Certificate program which provides students with key concepts of information security and defense and provides them with the technical and practical job skills necessary to secure, protect and defend network infrastructures and organization's valuable data assets. This program provides students with a broad understanding of security concepts, industry best practices for information security and key security concepts that will protect an organization against fraud, data breaches and other vulnerabilities.
The second year of the program is the Advanced Cyber Security Administration Ontario College Graduate Certificate program which further prepares students by providing industry standard security curriculum in ethical hacking methodology that can be used to develop strategies based on network security protocols followed by a four-month co-op work term. This second year not only provides the advanced training and practical experience to assess information security threats, but it also provides training on how to manage and mitigate against these same threats.
